We are a community health network, working together to eliminate health disparities in Okanogan County.

Our Okanogan Coalition for Health Improvement (CHI) brings together a network of community health partners from all corners of Okanogan County to eliminate the health disparities that keep our neighbors, clients, and communities from living a full and healthy life.

Who is the CHI?

Okanogan CHI is one of three community coalitions in north central Washington started by the North Central Accountable Communities of Health. Members of our Okanogan CHI include healthcare providers, social workers, educators, mental health providers, public health leaders, elected representatives, Tribal members, and more.

Central Strategies of the Okanogan CHI:

Identify

Identify community health needs and put them at the heart of community health strategy.

Align

Align our Coalition around why health disparities exist and how we can best respond.

Mobilize

Mobilize our network to collectively and effectively respond to our community health needs.

Home to just over 40,000 people, Okanogan County is Washington State’s largest, most rural county.
